    Former, I was just curious. I have parent locks on all our boxes, and they are mad cause they miss some movies, I cannot remember the code...

    Political parties should be eliminated. You are who you are and your vote is your vote. Not a party's vote.

    Rules of Congress and the House need to be overhauled when it comes to pork and tacking on pork to bills. A rule requiring a bill to be read may help too.

    Tax rules for corporations need to be overhauled.

    I would love for someone to study the effectiveness of a non-partisan city council/local government as opposed to a partisan one. I'm guessing a non-partisan council gets more done quicker.

    I agree, but Clyde's point still stands. The party system in the US is far too entrenched to just sweep it away.

    The Monarchy then was an ocean away and imported troops to support it.

    The Parties of which you speak are deeply entrenched here in the culture and infrastructure of society.
