    Perhaps you're right, but then again it's hard to say just how delusional they are. They usually seem to go where there are a lot of people, so as to do as much damage as possible (unless it's a work place related shooting). So, even if you're correct, those that are carrying can quickly put a stop to it. I get your point though, it's a fair and logical argument.

    This is from what appears to be an anti-gun organization, so I don't know how accurate it is. It could be spot on, I'm not sure. They claim that from May 2007 to the Present that there have been 288 killings by individuals with permits to carry concealed handguns (private citizen, law enforcement, mass shootings, murder-suicide).

    Here's the info on state by state incidents.

    If you were to do the math, I'd say we're talking about an extremely low rate of crime by conceal carry individuals. I'd also say a majority of them would have happened with or without the permit. In other words, they likely already owned a gun.
