    This is stupid. There is nothing wrong with calling the Father God, or Allah, but it's a waste of time. Focusing on meaningless issues like this is (call me crazy) the influence of Satan. Satan (who I believe is very active) tries (quite brilliantly) to turn the focus on unimportant issues like this rather than important ones, such as following Jesus, living a Christian life, helping the poor, etc.

    It's like the mass media- you hear more about celebrities than important things. It angers me that this bishop would even feel the need to bring up something so irrelevant.

    Sorry to bring such a darker and serious turn to a light-spirited thread.

    Allah was actually the moon god of the Qurash tribe...which worshiped at the Kabah (or current home stone of islam) in Mecca...Muhammed tried to merge Yaweh with Allah...and seems to have done so in the modern psyche...this is rediculous to even give such creedence to this beliefe.
