Does Ron Paul have a chance?

From the Republican debates, Ron Paul is easily my favorite Rep. candidate. He speaks in truths and because of his stance on Iraq I think he can sway a lot of independents and even some Democrat voters. He has also been leading the online polls for the winner of the debate.

So does he have a chance? After the most recent debate Fox news seemed to be pushing him aside and blaming all of his votes on a few die-hards that vote 100 times a second.

Are these polls skewed and does Ron Paul have a legitimate chance?

Here's the problem. I follow politics more than the average voter and I'd have to think long and hard as to which one was Ron Paul.

Have you been watching the debates? If so, you'd know who he was.

He doesn't have a chance. A possible Bloomberg/Hagel ticket will negate his stance on Iraq among dissident Republicans.

No; none whatsoever. The best he can hope for is to steer the political discussion in the direction of issues he would like to discuss but even that is a long shot.

No. Ron Paul has no chance to win the Republican nomination. Paul is popular among Democrats, but not so much among Republicans. Tough to win the Republican primaries without the support of Republican voters.

Not closely (which puts me in a very large group, I'm guessing).

Again, though, if I don't know the guy well enough, the great majority of voters will not , thus, no chance.

None whatsoever. Paul will only get that small vote of the minority that is fiercly anti-war. Those votes will only be a small percentage and a smack a the frontrunner, whoever that will be, that supports the war...

    Zip Zero Nada.

He's the GOP version of Dennis Kucinich.

His policies outside Iraq were very solid...he made some good sense about the size of government etc...may have even been demagoguery .
