No doubt. All of the ones from around here that I have known or known their families have always had other jobs. Most have owned their own business.

I have an Uncle who was in the State Legislature for 25 years ( he retired in the 90 's ) . Loved getting his Rupp tickets . He was dedicated to the people he served . He wasn't a lawyer or businessman he was like me trained as a union pipefitter , and had to give up many a construction job to go serve in Frankfort , it affected his union pension and cost him plenty , but I never heard him complain about it . He was influential in a lot of anti-abortion Legislation and helped write the lottery bill , and was House Majority caucus leader for a while . Very respected here in NKy by both parties .

Folks this special session just like the regular session is all about the race for the Governors office. Beasher is smart to call a special session to allow David "P" Williams to hang him self for being a jack rabbit.

What is bad is this special session isn't saving money. It is adding money to the pockets of people that can't make decisions.

I am so tired of elected officials. Both parties are wasting too much money and time.
