    Democrat Fundraiser going to Jail

When the Republicans was having the fundraising scandal with Abramoff, we have numerous threads on here about it. But this fundraising scandal with Hillary, I haven't noticed on here.

So wanting BGP to be a "fair and balanced" forum, I present the Democrat and Hillary fundraising scandal.

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...radition_N.htm

Hsu raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and others until the recent disclosure of his 1991 case turned him into a major embarrassment.

He was a leading money "bundler" for Clinton, earning the title of "HillRaiser" for his efforts at collecting donations. Her campaign is returning $850,000 in donations linked to Hsu and promising stricter scrutiny of donors.

This is just a continuation of their corruption.

Is it fair to say, there is corruption on both party sides.

In a related Hillary fundraising issue.

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...-clinton_N.htm
The Clinton fundraiser was held Tuesday in the Washington offices of Jones Day, a global law firm with more than 2,200 lawyers in 30 offices worldwide.

Some of the luncheon chairs and members of the host committee have been lobbyists for a wide range of business interests.

Edwards and Barack Obama have declined money from individuals who lobby the federal government and have tried to portray Clinton, who does accept lobbyists' money, as beholden to special interests. Obama and Edwards do accept money from corporate executives whose industries have interests in government policies.

Well, the thing is when this became known, Hillary and others are either giving the money back or donating it to charity.

It is fair to say that there is corruption on both sides of the aisle. The part that gets me is that the media focuses on it so much more when it is a guilty Republican more than when it is a guilty Democrat. This scandal got some attention on the political shows, but not much in the broader national media. Tom Delay was a household name and it was beaten over our heads with the whole 'culture of corruption' that was going on...

When it became known to Hillary or when it became known to the public? I think we all know the answer to that one.
