    Be like Christ today.

I woke up this morning and told mama.."You know, I have been thinking, I'm gonna try my best and be as Christ like as I can be". She looked at me and shook her head. I threw my Bama house shoe at her back as she walked away, hey Jesus threw things in the Temple when he got up set.

I let the dog out and didn't yell at him, I usually do. I fixed her breakfast and went and got coffee for her. Was real nice to the ladys at the station. Have shared some verses on here and face book.

Now, here is the problem in this try. I've been lookin for a car and replace our SUV and I will be dealing with car salesmen all day.

"We all Sin and fall short of the Glory of God".

    I'll give an update later.

I have NO faith for that try. ^^^ The word Christian comes from the words to be "Christ like." God plan was for his son to come to earth to save us from Sin, and to teach us how to be with one and another.

I've mentioned this on here before...What kind of world would we live in if every human did his best to act like Jesus? I haven't done too bad. I've seen several car sales people, a few "white lies", doubled looked at a few ladies, but thats a reaction and its not a sin.

Tried to do better with some fellow posters on here who I haven't been too nice.

Its hard to keep the Big 10, its almost impossible, so God gave us a new plan even though nine of the ten are still mentioned by Christ for us to do.

Alabama Larry!! SO MUCH ADMIRATION FOR YOU! From all the posts, I can surmize that we are of a differrent church, but not of a different Passion for Jesus Christ!

I was Born amd raised in the Catholic Church. I love Jesus in a passion that is similar to ALABAMA LARRY, even though we attend different services. I respect your vision and your posts,

Thanks Birdie/hoops...hoops, Paul tells us there are several people who speak of Jesus in different ways, but Paul asks what is the bottom line? Its they all refer to Jesus as Savior. And this pleases Paul. So as long as your Church and mine worships Jesus in Spirit and the Truth we are pleasing in God's sight.

    A few observations:

    * It is absolutely impossible to keep the Ten Commandments, and God used that human inability to increase our awareness of sin & our appreciation of grace (see Romans 5:20).

    * I would offer that Jesus mentioned each of the Ten Commandments when he said that the greatest commandment was to love God with all our heart, soul, & mind; and then he added the second greatest was to love our neighbor as ourselves. The first four of the Ten Commandments are summarized in Jesus' greatest commandment. And then the latter six of the Commandments are summarized in Jesus' second greatest commandment. When we love God and love people, we're honoring all of the original Ten.

    * As far as the Commandments themselves, I think we make a mistake in viewing them as a "list of things I'm not allowed to do." Perhaps we would be better suited to view them as "a list of things that, if followed, will greatly enhance both my life and my world."

Great points..^^^I am watching the movie so didn't refer to the greatest One. We don't keep the Sabbath Holy, but have a day that we do. The Jewish people back then didn't lift a finger on their Sabbath day. Which was not Sunday.
