Looking back, it is obvious he did/does know it all. Is there anyone around that knows our states sports better?

As an entire state, I highly doubt that there are many people than know about all the sports as does theguru. I know a few people that know a great deal about individual sports but as a whole, I think the 'ru has them beat.
