I don’t know how long he was in but when they pulverized 2A Catholic, he was in slinging TDS late in the 4th.  Not a good look trying to get your kid an award.

@theguruMark Mathis of the Messenger Inquirer tweets that Humphries left the game in 3rd quarter but got in a 63 yard passing TD to go up 57-7 (Bush league) That was his 7th.   He also hit a 46 yard TD to go up 50-7 (the running clock was already in effect) right before half.

 

Owensboro could have beat Ohio 100-0 but hit the brakes.   Even though Boone didn’t have many reps on offense for O, Fallin let a minute or more run off and didn’t score again before half.

That’s the difference between a school with a tradition of winning, and one that finds themselves in the middle of a blessed season. Owensboro acts like they’ve done this before. County loses all sense of class whatsoever.

Prediction: if they do that against Apollo with the history of animosity between the schools, someone will get hurt.

You can make all the excuses you want to make, say the other guy just needs to "get better," or whatever other cliche garbage you want to throw out there. The fact is this is classless and cheap. I don't care what the "circumstances" are.    Act like you've been there before even If you haven't.

You can kind of understand with Catholic as they dominated DC for years and that would’ve been a good time for revenge but Marshall deserved better.
