Ludlow Great Denny Caple - Passed away!

But one of the best ever to suit up for Ludlow High School passed away this morning from Covid. Denny graduated Ludlow in 1984. Played Defensive Line at WKU. If not for a freak knee injury many truly believe you would have seen him play in the NFL. Prayers go out to the entire Caple family and the Panther community. Not many better people than Denny Caple! RIP my friend!

Heard about this earlier today and just hate to hear it.  Much too young.  Denny was a great guy and will be missed by the many lives he touched.  Prayers to Thea, the kids and the Caple family.

Absolutely was one of the nicest man you would ever meet!! He touched so many lives and was a great role model for everyone!! He was well respected within the Northern Kentucky community.  Denny will be missed but never forgotten.  Prayers for the PANTHER family and to The Caple Family!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Just incredibly sad, Denny and Dan are two rock-solid humans, forgetting their athletic achievements, and have raised two beautiful families.  This has been such an up-and-down 7-10 days for the family, with so much optimism at one point last week, only to see it then head back the other direction -- just brutally difficult for all involved.

God Bless Denny for a safe and quick trip home, and I hope his family can find peace in a life well lived.
