Russell led by ten at the half, but Anderson looked more like the state's top ranked team in a momentum swinging third quarter. It was tight throughout the 4th, but Russell was denied a look at a potential game tying 3 in the final seconds.

It's okay to straddle the line between embracing the positives of a moral victory while still expecting/demanding more. Russell may have already believed they were capable of playing with the state's elite before tonight. Now they know it.

14-10 Russell after 1.

31-21 Russell at the half.

40-38 Russell after 3.

and 48-45 Anderson Final.

 

These games with Butler and Anderson Should help Russell get ready for Boyd County who They'll likely have to beat to win the 16th region.
