Always a tough place to come away with a win. Nonetheless, Dixie has proved the are for real Deal in my mind so far Year .......

Yes it was. Corbin actually ran the ball the first half against Dixie Heights. Nice to see that too. But Teyveon Longmire exploded a huge pass play to seal the deal not leaving much time for Dixie Heights to work with. Dixie Heights is legit. Just a good ole Defense battle and field position game. Definitely a better showing from the Redhounds offense this game.

Didn't realize Corbin scored on a 74 yard pass with 34 seconds left in the 4th to edge Dixie. Tough loss for the Colonels.

Very tough loss. Dixie may be the best team without a win yet. A back and forth game for much of the night. Dixie forced a fumble early that they didn't recover which could have been huge deep in Corbin's own territory. Corbin interception in the second half kept them within striking distance as Dixie was driving. Dixie's defense didn't seem to stay very comfortable and benefited from Corbins QB over/under throws. That fourth quarter was exciting. The last touchdown play Dixie finally got pressure and Corbin QB stood there, took the hit as he delivered an absolute dime in stride. Not many players in the state that could catch that receiver. Corbin somehow got the Longmire kid open when they had too.

How did Longmire get so open on that TD? What kind is set was the Dixie defense in? You had to figure Longmire was the target in that situation. Surprised Dixie’s D - which is very solid - let that happen.
