What Are You Reading In 2020?

Recommended Posts

It's been over 40 years since I read this the first time. With the new movie coming out, I gave it another read.

I got three books on my birthday.  This was the first one.  All were recommended by my son, who is something of an expert in the field of crime fiction.  This one gets 4 stars out of 4.

This is the second one.  3-3/4 stars out of 4.

And here's a humble brag.  My son's first book, published by Oxford University Press.  It is a bit dense for me.  I really thought the acknowledgements would say something along the lines of "thanks to my father, who taught me everything I know", but alas, he decided to thank a few others as well.

Back in the day, voted the greatest standalone sci-fi book of all time.

Great ending to the trilogy. I love the snarky writing. I am glad Taylor did not end the series with this trilogy.
