All State Baseball 48 Posted August 24, 2019 Johnson Central rolled in their season opener. Crushing Lafayette 49-12. These teams have played the past 3 years with Johnson Central winning 2 of the 3. Capital won last season at Johnson Central. The games have been super close except for the first meeting back in 2016, Johnson Central won 23-6. 15th Region 340 Posted August 27, 2019 Should be a great game and I always look forward to seeing Capitals award winning marching band. This will also be the first game in the new stadium for Capital as they move from the University of Charleston's field. Capital is still playing at The University of Charleston Stadium at Laidley Field. Laidley field was just renovated. New field turf and a new track surface were two of the main upgrades.
