Dallas Police Officer Tries To Enter Wrong Apartment, Fatally Shoots Resident

Recommended Posts

Her being in uniform is 100% irrelevant. She tried to unlawfully enter this guys apartment.

She only lived there a month also.

That makes the accident angle more plausible. I still doubt it, but I think it makes it more plausible.

I agree and don't consider this an officer involved shooting. This was someone coming from home from work, who tried to enter the wrong apartment, and killed someone. If you take the police out of this, this seems pretty easy for a charge. Manslaughter seems correct, unless she specifically went there to kill him. If it was you or I who did this, we would be charged, as we should.

And she was charged, wasn't she?

I believe that is what I said

I didn't see it. I only saw you say that if it were you or I, we would be charged.

Did he say she wasn't? He specifically said manslaughter seems like the right charge.

He did say that manslaughter seemed to be the right charge to him, did not say that she was actually charged. The wording was confusing saying that anyone else would be charged...which makes it sound like she wasn't.

Like Jumper said, the wording of the post made it seem as if she wasn’t charged but she was.

If that's how you choose to interpret it, I guess.

It’s how it looked. Simple as that.
