Four Killed By Nude Gunman At Nashville Waffle House

Recommended Posts

Four people were killed and four injured when a gunman opened fire at a Waffle House early Sunday morning in Antioch, Tennessee, in the Nashville metropolitan area.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said a nude man began shooting at the restaurant at about 3:25 am. A patron, later identified as 29-year-old James Shaw Jr., wrestled the gun away from him, and he fled on foot.

The police identified Travis Reinking, 29, as a “person of interest” in the shooting and said murder warrants are being drafted against him. They named Reinking publicly because the vehicle he arrived in was registered under his name.

I have an ex brother-in-law (a really good guy) that frequents this location, thankfully he is okay.

He was arrested last July for being in a restricted area of the White House. TN police then seized his guns and gave them to his dad who gave them back to the son. He was only wearing jacket at the time of the shooting and ran back towards his apartment where he then got dressed and took off.

The suspect was arrested near the White House last year is what the Secret Service has said. He is believed to possibly have another gun.

At least that is what I saw on twitter.

Sounds like dad has some responsibilities in this terrible act.

I wonder if they can bring charges against the father. I hope so.

All 4 victims were under 30. All 4 were also black.

It’s possible. Not sure if we’ll ever find out though.

Prayers for the victims and their families. This is so tragic.

This guy here is the perfect example of someone who shouldn't have ownership of any weapons.

I'd say if his dad gave the guns back then the long arm of the law will be knocking on his door. And I'd have to think this was racially motivated just from reading the wacky stuff this guy was into.

It could have been, but that wasn't my intent in posting the information.

But if I had to guess, I would say yes.
