MentschTrachtGottLacht 3,872 Posted March 9, 2018 From what I have seen from Apollo in the last 2 weeks, you might be surprised. If it is close, I certainly will be (surprised).
MentschTrachtGottLacht 3,872 Posted March 9, 2018 @Letsgetit calling for the upset -- I love it. Should be fun. Apollo is certainly playing well, and as was said accurately, Rupp can do strange things to players and teams.

colonel-fan 1,844 Posted March 9, 2018 Thanks @ApolloFan98! Outstanding write-up. The Saldana story is a good one.
Randy Parker 242 Posted March 9, 2018 Assuming CovCath doesn't get caught looking ahead--and I don't think they will--I think the Colonels cruise by 18.
SECRules 123 Posted March 9, 2018 Colonels by 15+. My concern for CCH is that normally they dont rest Fredrick or Ruthsatz. They typically play deep into the 4th without any bench time. In order for the Colonels to win 3 or 4 more games, they will have to use their deep bench often in Rounds 1 and 2.

They have multiple guys of similar talent to play the 3,4,5. If you take AJ/Jake out and put in Michael, Thelen or Fleek not a huge drop in talent. If you take out Aiden or CJ there's a big drop. The younger guards may have talent, but they never see the floor so who knows and they lack experience.

He's really helped with dividing up the ball handling duties.

Any one of those players could sub in for CJ or Aiden and CCH would still have 2 guards on the floor. Plus Luke Thelen and Disken can easily manage point duties. If CCH doesnt rest their two primary guys a couple minutes each half it will be tough to win 4 games in 4 days!
4 Quarters 657 Posted March 12, 2018 CCH wins this one, Rupp will empty out at halftime.

camelman 1,085 Posted March 15, 2018 Apollo has a better chance of landing on the moon than winning this game. CovCath by a bunch.
