Game was played in under 2 hours....running clock most of second half. Understandably, the Cardinals didn't come out with a lot of passion...3 and out on our first series, but definitely took care of business. Defense was great, as usual. A very "workmanlike" victory.

405 yards of total offense for Mayfield to 92 for Marshall. Other than an early 3rd quarter TD by the starters, JV squad played most of the 2nd half.

Not to steal anything away from Mayfield, but yet another complete lackluster performance from Marshall-

When, if ever will this school administration figure out that hiring "another good old boy" for coach is not the answer?

It is just a shame that a school that big cannot field a quality product.
