Cory is having a great year and all the receptions are on top of playing defense too. If you are playing Cooper there are a couple of players you have to stop and Cory is one of them.

His performance on D against NCC was one for the ages, but I'm sure his heart is on the other side of the ball. Still, you could see his grin from the stands when he was penetrating the O line that night. Was a thing of beauty.

He's been approached mostly for football although one of the schools told him he could play both at their school, not sure he wants to play both. Leaning toward football as of now.

Like I said in one of the QB threads you can't just look at numbers and say if someone is "really good" or not (yes, I'm looking at you, UKFan).

 

When I watch Cory I see a kid that knows how to play the position AND he has great hands. Pure speed is keeping him from getting bigger offers and I get that somewhat.

 

Sounds like he is going to have a great opportunity in front of him from a combo of football and academics.
