Dayton ran for 468 yards. Logan Brewer had 120 on 18 carries, Juddy Turner had 8 carries for 83 yards, and DJ Walker had 204 yards on 23 carries.

Could of been much worse, Dayton lost 2 fumbles in the red zone and took a knee inside the 5 yard line. the QB for Ludlow is a tough dude.

I am sure this was an emotional evening for many on the Dayton sideline. Congratulations on a strong showing in your first district game to the Green Devils. And particular congratulations to Mr. Walker on representing himself so well.

Ludlow scored first but Dayton ran off 36 unanswered, 30 in the first half. Congratulations to DJ Walker on his 1,000 yard season so far this year. He needed 199 going into the game. 1st district win in 3 years, eclipsed total win total over the past 2 years and a win away from hosting a district playoff game. Coach Montgomery has things going the right way. Austin Brockman really impressed us in the booth. The TE can get the job done and makes for another weapon in the Dayton playbook.

 

Ludlow had quite a few opportunities in the first half especially. Cody had wide open receivers downfield, but was scrambling out of pocket and couldn't connect. Ludlow has Bellevue this week and Dayton has Beechwood.
