As posted previously Ensworth will play Lexington Catholic in the 2nd game of the Bluegrass Bowl on August 25th and the game will be nationally televised on ESPNU.

A serious question to those here.

Do you (or people you know) plan to attend to take in this televised game live and in person? Or of you are West Jessamine or John Hardin fans (the first game of the bowl) - will you stay?

The reason for the question is on-field seating and parking logistics. The question was raised on how much to expect in attendance. Since the games are on Saturday it is thought that the serious fans from nearby or regionally close schools who have Friday night games may attend in greater numbers.

The answers may help with the question of arranging for remote parking at a nearby almost empty shopping mall and if additional bleachers should be arranged for the end zone that faces the baseball field.

Off the top of my head I believe that is the same day as the bowl game at Boyle which has Mercer County v Allen County-Scottsville and Collins v Boyle County. All of the Boyle and Mercer people who would attend the LexCath game will be at Boyle.

Thanks, good to know. That probably takes out a good block of additional guests.
