    Fantasy Question

Who should I start at WR? Only need 2.

    Anquan Boldin
    Jerricho Cotchery
    Santonio Holmes
    Matt Jones

Also, I had a thought to start the Raiders D this week since they play Detroit. My normal D is the Ravens, but they play Cincy and it has me questioning who I want to start.

Boldin and Cotchery, weak WR's though if that is all you have. should look into trading for a #1. I would start the Ravens.

    Boldin and Cotchery.
Holmes is losing some value in the return game where they picked up Allen Rossum.

While we are at it, I think I know the answer but I'm gonna throw it out there.
    Eli Manning or JP Losman
Thomas Jones, Fred Taylor, or LenDale White. Pick only 1, the first spot is locked up.

Eli and Jones, both are starters. Jets have a run happy O, while Eli is decent back up.

I only have to question Jones health. The Jets have been pretty hush hush about it. Taylor would really be my only other option, but I just thought I'd throw White into the convo.

Boldin for sure. I think Holmes will be better than Cotchery, but I'd probably play Cotchery in week one and see how the Steelers looked under the new coach.

If you have Baltimore, always play them, no matter who they're playing. They held Indy without a TD last season in the playoffs. Plus, even if they do give up a few points to an offense like Cincy, they get sacks and turnovers galore and score defensive TD's. They're a pretty big and consistent scoring option in fantasy football...they put up something like 218 fantasy points last year. That's more than all but 9 QB's and 8 RB's last year. Marvin Harrison lead all receivers with 201 points...just for reference. Oakland's defense scored well over a 100 points less than Baltimore's last season.

    There, I've stated my case.

If I had your team, the only time Oakland's defense would start would be on the Ravens bye week...

^^^ the perfect analysis. I think Holmes could be almost as big a play maker as Hines Ward by season's end. Baltimore D EVERY WEEK. After the Ravens bye week I would dump the Raiders D for another WR and ride the Ravens every week.

I forgot to add that point. I expect Holmes to be a bigger fantasy producer than Ward when the season's all said and done. I'd just take the wait-and-see approach in week one to try and get a feel for how Big Ben will play and what their offense will be like with Tomlin and a new OC.

    This is my team.

QB: Tom Brady, Phillip Rivers, Alex Smith
RB: Laurence Maroney, Willis McGahee, Warrick Dunn, Leon Washington
WR: Anquan Boldin, Jerricho Cotchery, Matt Jones, Santonio Homles
    TE: Vernon Davis, Greg Olsen
    D: Ravens and Raiders

Anyone got any ideas who I should try to trade around or drop/pick up?

No Kicker? I'd drop Alex Smith and get a kicker...if you just forgot to post your kicker, I'd still drop Smith and get the best availabe RB or WR...and like sportsfan said, I'd ditch Oakland as soon as Baltimore's bye week was past and pick up someone else.

I thought that might be the case...I'd drop Smith and get the best RB or WR that was a FA.
