Va.Tech is way over rated at #9, they have no offense at all.

Va. Tech's D is really tough though. Thats going to be a good game when they play Georgia Tech.

Michigan is doing 2 a day football practices so I believe Carr has the full attention of his team. I don't look for Michigan to take it easy on the Ducks. I feel sorry for them.

Me either...that was a little harsh, IMO. Michigan shouldn't have lost that game, but App State is the cream of the crop in D1-AA...the funny thing is that if Michigan would have lost to a D1 team that was in reality worse than App State, they probably wouldn't have dropped as far.

Also, how much, if any would Michigan have dropped had that last FG sailed through the uprights? Not much I say....that's a big difference between a last second one point victory and a 2 point loss on a blocked FG.

Thats the way it should be. I saw in one poll they were still in the top 10.

After that type of loss they should be out of the top 10 at least.

This is why no poll should come out until the beginning of October. Too many factors. How far would Michigan have fallen if they had been the preseason #20 team? How do we know they should have been #5? Its just way too subjective to rank teams at the start of the year. Too many good teams start too low to have a chance and too many teams get a second chance, just by starting high. Wait until they have 3-4 games under their belt and then release a poll.

Do you think they are one of the Ten best teams in the country?
