I also meant to say that UC's defense really impressed me.

It's the reason I put 100 down on the Cats!

Oregons State's D really should be better than it showed last night.

Their front 4 are real good!

The portion of the game that I watched they completely shut down the UC offense. How many total yards did UC gain?

Oregon State's D was good last night.

Other than a beautifully executed fake where the RB got wide open and scored on a 50 yard TD pass, all UC's points came either on or as a direct result of defense and special teams. Before they got the long TD pass, they had something like 120 total yards in the last minute of the 3rd quarter.

UC's touchdowns came on a blocked punt, a run from the two after a fumbled punt and a 31 yard drive set up by an interception. One of the field goals was set up by an interception and the other was a 55 yarder.

I thought the UC defense would be good but seeing them in person for the first time last night, I was thoroughly impressed. If the offense (read: offensive line) can cut down on the mistakes, they can be very good this year.

Yvenson Bernard is glad to be heading back to the west coast... I think he and Canfield were really tired of seeing Angelo Craig... by the way, he is really good, along with the rest of the D Line... and Nakamura is a ball hawk.... on one of his picks the ball was tipped and he completely came from out of the picture to make the pick. Mickens is impressive too.... I think there are a number of guys on the defense who are potential all Big East performers... The O line, as stated by others, needs some work...

and Mauk's scar, well it looks like it might sting a little bit..

UC was impressive last night. Defensively they are VERY good. Imo they will keep getting better on offense as well. After watchig the replay of the game I taped last night I was impressed.

The October 13th home game may be very interesting

That was an impressive W by the Bearcats last night, IMO. If they keep it up, they're going to be a factor in the Big East sooner rather than later.

Last year Cal traveled to the vols and got waxed. This year vice verse. Oregon State traveled east and gets creamed. Does Cincy go out there next year?

    Great win for the B-Cats.
