    Ohio State 33 Washington 14

    Final.

Jim Tessel gets win #200 and Ohio State extends its regular season game win streak to 22 (I believe that is correct)

Impressive 2nd half by the Buckeyes....I still think the offense is a little too weak to win the Big Ten though.

What happened to Pettry? Did he lose his job?

OSU looked sluggish offensively n the 1st half. A lot mistakes made on the "O" side of the ball. The Defense as usual was very good. Good win for the Buckeyes.:flame:

He was listed coming out of the spring and really early in the fall practice as #1 on the depth chart (both pk and ko's). I haven't seen anyone around to ask but I had heard that he has had trouble with a groin pull and thigh problem, the injury set him back. I hope that am correct on that info, someone can correct me if I am mistaken.

I can understand that but they will get nothing but better and with the Buckeyes defense they will always have a shot.

Aaron suffered a groin injury prior to the season opener. He did lose his placekicking job to Petroius but was supposed to handle the kickoff duties before he was injured.
Hopefully he can fully recover and earn his job back.

Let's hope the 2nd half is what we will see more of from the Buckeyes.

    Terrible, terrible, terrible.

I'm as hard core an OSU fan as you'll get and they should have been down three scores at the half if it wasn't for dropped gift-wrapped interceptions and a blown call.

Despite the 3-0 record, this team is a debacle, kind of like the '04 squad.

tOSU was also a total different team in the second half. And since you are die hard I am sure you know they lost what 8-9 all big ten players from last year. Mostly on the offensive side. This is a team still trying to find out who they are. The defense is SOLID.. the offense is coming along. Running game is set for the next 3 years now we need QB/WR play to be consistent.

Indeed. If they can get a couple guys on the defensive side of the ball to avoid the call of the NFL, they can have a special team next year. Until then though, it can be painful to watch at times.

481 total yards of offense and that's to weak for the Big Ten? against a defense that held Boise State to just 10 points last week? and beat Syracuse 42-12?

Boeckman and Wells are showing they are getting better and better by each game. Boeckman is now 45 of 71 for 574 yards and 6 touchdowns, and Wells has 60 rushes for 324 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Buck's D will hold strong all year and as long as Boeckman and Wells can put around 20-24 points on the board, OSU will be hard for anyone to handle.

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

The Buckeyes really surprised me this game and played much better than I thought they were capable of.

I agree with the offense being a bit weak, but honestly the big 10 hasn't shown me too much. Maybe Penn State, but other than that, everyone has strugled at times. We'll see.
