No complaints on the defensive side of the ball. Bucks D held Akron to 69 yds total offense. 66 passing-3 rushing.
The offense turned the ball over 5 times 3 fumbles & 2 INT's but still managed 378 yds total yds. QB is learning and must make better decisions against better competition.

I figured OSU would have put a few more points on the board.

I believe that as in the opener vs. YSU that Tressel treated it somwhat like a pre season/ scrimmage. He ran different sets with different people. Tressel is not going to run it up on anyone.

Coming from YSU, Tressel won't run the score up on the smaller in-state schools, but given the chance, he will put points on the board against any conference rivals.

This did not strike me as a tOSU score. I don't think the Michigan and tOSU game will have any meaning at all for the big 10 title this year.

I agree. In yesterday's game the five turnovers kept the Buck's from reaching the end zone more often.

tO$U better improve their offense by next week or Washington will send them home with a "L".

Yeah Washington proved yesterday they were a pretty good team. The Big is just not what they used to be this year.

I wasn't just meaning yesterdays game, I meant as a general rule.

I would agree with you on this.

I still don't think that if he had the opportunity to hang 60-70 or so on a team that he would do it just for the sake of doing it. Tressel is class and doesn't go on an ultra ego that he feeds from running it up to make him look better like some coaches do.

Not a great first half but 20-2 isn't to bad. Boeckman will come around and throw between 2,400 and 2,600 yards. Wells looked good, and so did Robiskie. Next week will be a tough game for the Buck's. Washington has a laid a beat down and knocked off a top 25 team.
