JMO but I think if Michigan offers that Miles is a Wolverine, it is his dream job.

Just going on the word of some people I know that have the ear of Mitch Barnhart, (large check book), there is plans.

If UK does not get to the 6 win level or look competitive in losses there will be a nice package put together for Bowden, as in highest paid college coach..............

Miles heart is and always will be at UM. If they do him right (and I expect they will) he's in Maize and Blue next year...

He has yet to really prove his mettle...the last "Michigan" guy they hired is not working out that well....

I'm not a Miles fan personally. He'd be an upgrade over Carr, but I'm not sure how much. He still seems like a guy who finds a way to stay out of the BCS Title game...

...as of now, I'm just not sure if that's because of JaMarcus Russell or Les Miles. If Miles can get it done this year, then I'll have my answer. I was never a fan of Russell as a college QB. I certainly won't dispute the raw physical talent, but I didn't like his performance in big games against elite competition (see Florida and Auburn last year).

Les Miles is as much of a lock to be the next football coach at Michigan as Bill Donovan was to be the next basketball coach at UK....
