Listen Truth, I can't stand UL. I don't care much for them and if their football and basketball teams lose their next 50 games I'd be okay (Baseball, Women's sports, etc, I root for them; like I would nearly any in-state school), but how can you say they have ZERO chance at winning the Big East? One loss and they are not even a blip on the screen?

    Wow.
This is very true, this game means nothing as far as conference play. If (big if) they can still win the Big East they still make it to a BSC game. I know I'm pulling for them to do it.

Don't y'all worry your pretty little heads. Louisville will be just fine

There's a lot of football yet to come, and I believe in the Cards. Things may be off to a shaky start, but if I'm not mistaken, they're led by a QB who faced a shaky start in another situation in his football career, and he led that team to a spectacular end of season run. It's all good!

As bad as UL's defense has been I still think they will get it together and finish second in The Big East. I have a feeling that the WVU game will get ugly however. The Mountaineers could possibly run for miles and miles against The Cards.

What kind of dog is that in your avatar 5 wide ?

A white german shepherd...or some places on the internet call them American White Shepherds. I'm not sure which is supposed to be correct, or if it even matters...

Trust me RM, I am not one bit worried about U.L.

U of L will have trouble with Rutgers WVU and South Florida. But I think they will be fine, as long as Brohm keeps the numbers up ( which he will ) and the D can pick it up I see them right in the hunt for the Big East with around 9-10, maybe 11 wins.

No worries about a UC team that almost cost them the BCS bid in the Pizza Palace last season? I'll keep that in mind...

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

The Big East is nerve wracking this year and that doesn't bode well for UofL and the way their defense has been playing. There's still time for UofL to turn it around and finish 1 or 2, but I can definitely see them finishing 3rd or 4th just as easily.

Here is how I'd rank the top 5 in the Big East:

    1. WVU
    2. USF
    3. Ville
    4. UC
    5. Rutgers

I wouldn't be surprised if Rutgers won the Big East. Their offense is much improved and the defense is ridiculous.

True. Rice has been huge but Mike Teel has been even bigger. Teel leads the country in QB rating, and has passed for 858 yards and 8 td's with 1 INT.

True, but I don't see Louisville's defense holding either one of them.

Florida on the road, and will need to play exceptionally well to beat the 'Neers in Morgantown.

All is not lost for UL in terms of a BCS game...not by a long-shot.
Didn't one of the top teams in the Big East just get beat by one of the SEC's bottom dwellers? Can you imagine what would happen to one of these "loaded" teams if they played in the SEC week end and week out?
