RRR is already wanting to fire Kragthorpe.
I guess the shine is off of Jurich then for the hire?

Jurich was justified in the hire, Kragthorpe built a team. Problem is he isn't showing the ability to coach a top 25 team.

Minus the added national exposure UK would have gained by winning with the game on ESPN Varsity and zero other games shadowing the result. How many more potential recruits would have been tuned in? How much more revenue would it have created? Beating a UL team after the D had already been exposed twice hurts the perception as well. The win alone doesn't not change my views on the decision. In fact it makes them stronger...

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

Exactly. As a UofL fan, I think I'm glad now that the game was played in week 3.

You guys are missing the main point which is the FACT that UK won in Week 3. There is no way to measure if it actually had an impact on the game but if in fact it did, then UK may have lost in Week 1. I'll take the W and I'm sure not one UK player or fan said "Gee I wish this would have happened in Week 1".

It can be spun either way...
The only thing that’s fact is the week 3 result is in the books and it went UK's way... The "WIN" is all UK was after everything else will work itself out...

No, you're missing our point. Trust me, I'm aware that UK won last night. I'm just saying that I think UK would have won easier and in better fashion in week 1 and it would have boded well for them on the national stage. I'm not saying that it took anything away from UK's win, I'm saying that I think it could have been bigger.

So giving up 40 and almost 500 yards is good defense?

Where did he say they played good? There is a difference between good and good enough to win.

UK has plenty of opportunities on the national stage starting next week... exposure won't be a problem for the cats...

OK then good enough to win, if thats what it's going to take for UL to win is score more than 40 every game it's going to be a long season.

That isn't the point either. Breaking a 4 game losing streak to your in state rivals who are ranked in the top 10 and playing an unranked Arkansas are hardly the same thing.

Well we won't be seeing many more offenses as good as UK's so I think they'll be alright.
