I think UK will be just fine, they won't as big as the EKU game, but they'll still will win,I say 45-17.Go Cats!!!!!

Much like the Cats, Kent St is riding huge momentum. Coming off 1st winning season since 2001, only second since 1987. Favored as one of the teams to beat in the MAC this year.
Then, open your season with your first win over a D-1 team in Iowa State since 1987, even though they turned it over 3 times in the 1st half inside Iowa St 20 yard line.
Cats must play with intensity. Cats 34-24

Yes. UK could be overlooking this game. I'm really just hoping we make it through this one healthy and with a W. I wouldn't care if it is the most sloppy victory ever. I'll take this one in anyway so long as it is a W.

    I'm going to say UK - 31 Kent State - 28.

That is so true. The MAC is tough and all UK & UL fans should know that by now. This is the best UK teams in years and if they are to live up to the expectations for this year then they need to take care of business against Kent St. It won't be an easy game because of the style of the Kent QB, but the UK offense should be able to exploit Kent with passing. It will be difficult to run on Kent but success early through the air will open up the running game. I look for a tough game with UK taking control late.

Ask Iowa State about Kent State.

If it is a close score, it will not be because the Cats overlook Kent State, Grandpa Brooks will not let that happen, I think kentucky will be well prepared and win 56-17

UK better not over look Kent. Last year 4 win Louisiana Monroe came to Commonwealth and only lost by 2 points. UK had over 450 yards of offense, Woodson had 359 yards passing. Little had over 200 all purpose yards.

I would say Iowa State and UK’s program are pretty similar (historically speaking). So that doesn’t make any sense. The fact Kent St beat Iowa State is relevant to this game. UK better be ready.

I'd say R-O-U-T was the predominant thought a few years ago against Idaho State, as well. I think UK wins this game, and they will probably cover the point spread (13 points), but they will have some problems against Kent's offense. I don't think UK's high school defense has won any games the past 5 seasons. I hope they are improved this year, but its going to take more than the Eastern game to prove so to me.
