College Football Week 2 - Point Spreads

Here are a few of the initial lines I'm getting from my sportsbook for this week. I was just wondering how everyone else would bet on these games (favorites in bold):

    Thursday:

    1) U of L vs. Middle TN St. (no money line) - point spread +/- 40.5

    2) Oregon State (-170) @ Cincy (+150) - point spread +/- 4

    Friday:

    1) Navy @ Rutgers (no money line) - point spread +/- 17

Saturday (just a few to start with that I find interesting):

    1) WVU @ Marshall - point spread +/- 24.5

    2) Nebraska @ Wake Forest - point spread +/- 9

    3) Miami (FL) @ Oklahoma - point spread +/- 11

    4) Kent @ UK - point spread +/- 13

I personally think there is alot of money to be made this weekend!

I think as far as point spreads, Marshall will be a thorn in the side of WVU, UK will cover, Nebraska will cover, and Navy will be a tougher than expected game for Rutgers.

Alabama is laying -3 versus Vandy.
Is that a sucker bet there?

WVU can beat Marshall by 100 if they want to...the game is at Marshall but there will be tons of WVU fans in the stands...men vs. boys and it will be ugly...UK is a lock also...

I'll be at the WVU game, my prediction is the corwd about 65-60 to 35-340 percent in favour of Marshall.
As far as the game it will be worse than 24, Marshall best defensive player was lost in preseason and they will have no answer for WVU. Their offense isnt that great yet neither.

Have you been drinking this morning, or are you still sleepy?

Vandy is much improved, but I was thinking about going with Bama in this one, as well.

Another game that could be a good play is Miami (OH) against Minnesota at 8 1/2 points. Minnesota looked pretty weak in game one.

After further review, I believe that WVU will cover with no problems against Marshall.

There are never any locks, but WVU is a good bet, as well as Rutgers/Navy over the total, take Mich. over as well, I also like Georgia -3 and half vs. S. Carolina.

Another game I like is Auburn -7 at home vs. South Florida...I know the Big East fans will disagree, but Auburn should take care of business at home...
