    UL 87 Providence 60

The most fun game I've seen in a long time. Literally, I was laughing so hard I was crying. I reiterate my comments from day one....I love Siva. Just love him! He's on my top 5 list of all-time favorite Cardinals.

Wow. Nice win for the Cardinals. I don't care who it is- 27 point wins in conference are rare.

I think they already have it.

You could be right. The announcers tonight made it seem like it isn't a done deal. But I was thinking how could it not be.

We all know he is my favorite...

Knowles made an improbable buzzer-beating basket before intermission. Knowing the clock was about to expire as he rebounded a Chris Smith miss in the lane, he flicked the ball back over his head without looking at the basket, and it swished through.

Last night's game was full of crazy! The shot by Knowles at the 1/2, the absolutely unbelievable slide/stop/catch/pitch out by Siva in the 2nd half. The two (or three) missed jams by Jennings, God love him. I felt bad for Jennings. The guy just couldn't get the dang ball to dunk last night! Kuric seemed to be everywhere all the time! And Siva was bugging the Providence players like a gnat at a picnic.

Louisville holds the tiebreaker with Syracuse. Cards can now finish no worse than fourth. The double-bye is assure, but in either 3rd or 4th place. Fantastic results so far and definitely unexpected at the start of the season.

No kidding, I didn't expect this at all, but will gladly take it.

^ After the Kentucky game, I thought that if Louisville had a really good year, the Cards could be in a position to finish in the top eight and get a first-round bye. Reality has been far better than my expectations and it's always fun going into the postseason with the feeling that you're playing with house money at this point.
