    Time for "I Bleed Blue"!......(song)

With the Cats back in the Final Four I thought it may be a good time to post this song by Ryan Parker again. Parker is from Russell,KY. is very talented and has many sports theme songs. This one is one of my favorites and Parker has updated the song. Parkers songs can be found at http://www.ryanparkersongs.com/

Me too along with the words to the song. Parker describes exactly what alot of U.K. fans feel.

I'm not ashamed to admit I was on the verge of joyous tears when it became a reality that we had beaten UNC last week. I haven't watched this yet, but when I get home from work, I'm sure I'll be right there with ya my man.

Well the sad thing for me is I watched a lot of those moments when they happened and have saw that video numerous times, still chokes me up.

Few things can make me happy and sad in this life, UK basketball is one of them.

Yeah I got to freak out twice last weekend, once Friday night and again on Sunday. I'm hoping for more of the same tonight.

I certainly agree on both, especially the latter.

The latter is one of the few for me. I'm still young at 23, I'm sure I will be married one day but not in the foreseeable future. I've done the relationship thing in the past and its just not for me right now, most girls get on my nerves. I'm the type that is happy just being with my friends and going out on some dates here and there and hanging out with girls here and there without having to have just that one. So I don't need a woman to make me happy, school or job is not something that makes me happy or sad like most people, and neither are most things that ordinary people rely on for happiness. So for me its like, God number one, UK basketball number two.

Don't even know what the other ones would really be, golf maybe?

I didn't after North Carolina, but I certainly shed a few after they beat Ohio State.

Man I love UK. I loved my time at Morehead but the one regret I have for my short life is that I did not go the Lexington for college. My kids are going there, I don't care if they have a full ride to Harvard .

I didn't go either, instead went to Eastern and I too wish I would have. I had numerous friends that went to UK though so I kind of lived Vicariously through them. Some of my best friends that I grew up with who were a grade or two older than me had a house on the end of Woodland and man it got rocking. The first thing after the game I thought on Sunday was how much I wish I was there right now. They haven't lived there in a couple years, ones in Illinois in Chiropractic School, ones in Franklin County teaching, and the rest just spread throughout Lexington. After seeing all the pictures taken from around Woodland and Euclid though Sunday night I was very envious, would have gave anything for it to have happened about two years ago so I would have been able to enjoy that scene.
