Turned out to be a pretty good decision eh? I know there were many who were very vocal in criticizing Cal for this.

Also kept Liggins over Galloway but that was a pretty easy decision.

Jorts & Liggins are making Cal out to look like a genius. And he just might be.

Today on Rome, Cal said that after the Jorts Twitter incident that he had decided to kick him off the team, but went to Mass, slept on it and changed his mind. Cal said he let his ego get in the way, but he was furious with Jorts for that Tweet. Glad it all worked out the way it did.

I heard that too. Jorts has been one of the most pleasant UK basketball surprises in my lifetime.

No doubt RP. Guess all those Kenny Payne work outs paid off.

It was definitely a good interview. Some good stuff in there, especially Cal on Harrelson. Talking about how he's developed and worked so hard to get where he is. I especially liked the part where Cal mentioned 20 years from now these are the kids/stories he's going to remember most.

I do not know what factored in to Coach Calipari taking Woody Harrellson over Matt Pilgram, but I do not that Cal recruited DeAndre Liggins while he was at Memphis so I am sure that factored into his decision.
