    Play in games

can some explain to me why the NCAA

    1. has confernce champs playing in the play in games.

If you are a confernce champ it is automatic to get in. The play in games should be for bubble teams.

    2. Had 2 play in games as 11 and 12 seeds?

If your in a play in game your seed shouldn't be hire that teams already in the tourney.

    Thought?

I can't bring myself to say any of these teams are winning an NCAA tournament game. If you are a 16 seed and you defeat a 16 seed, that does not mean you won an NCAA tournament game.

    You can start with

    1. They should never have been added. Go back to 64 teams and stop the stupidity.

    Exactly. 64 is plenty.

Were any of those games really that important to anyone besides the schools that were participating? Forget the money aspect..

I didn't watch a second of any of the play-in games. The tournament starts today.

It don't matter to me, but the NCAA considers it a win.

I'm anxious to see what the ratings were for those two nights. A combination of bad basketball, bad teams, on a hard-to-find network that isn't HD for many people can't add up to great numbers. Of course absorbed into the entire tournament ratings they won't cause too much of a dent.

If they keep the play-in games, which they will, I think it should all be one day. Two afternoon games and two nights games on Tuesday and call it over. There is absolutely no sense in stretching it out over two nights.

They're certainly not going to contract, so the games are here to stay. I hate trying to call them the 1st round. I also hate it for the auto qualifiers. They earned their way.

Its also pretty dumb to make the teams play 2 days later. Clemson played the late Tuesday game in Dayton, flew to Tampa and plays the opening game on Thursday.
