Nice comeback by the Norse. I believe they were 18 down at some point in the 2nd half.

Congratulations to the Norse; Bellarmine will likely be tough for them though. Best of luck against them.

The D-II tourney or the GLVC tourney?

So how are they playing conference teams back-to-back?

Big win for the Norse. Hopefully they can pick up a win against Bellarmine, who beat them twice during the regular season.

I mean, I understand travel budget limitations at the D-II level, but playing conference schools in the early rounds of the nationals certainly seems to cheapen the accomplishments of the conference champ, and would seem to penalize conferences with more depth.

I think the Great Lakes Valley Conference was so strong this year that 5 teams made the 8-team regional hosted by Bellarmine, the league champ. So some intra-conference play was unavoidable.
