What a shame. You have to feel for the kid. He tried to do things the right way and still got rooked. Kudos to UK for standing behind Kanter and for working it so he could stay in school and with the team. Ironically, I think this situation helps UK in recruiting because of the way UK fought for Kanter and stayed with him even after the ruling.

    I would agree with that.

Me too. I think this whole situation made UK and Coach Calipari look good and the NCAA look inconsistent and arbitrary.

It would not surprise me to see Kanter taken #1 overall.

Mark "Bo" Pelini was born 6 weeks premature. He designed a blitz to help him escape from his mother's uterus early.

From everything Ive read it sounds like he is going to be the best player entering the draft so unless the team drafting #1 has bigger needs at another position I would think there is a great chance Kanter is the first player off the board.

First player to ever been enrolled in school, without playing college ball and taken number #1 overall? Not bad lol.

I have a feeling many of us are going to be sick to our stomachs when we see his talent show through at the NBA level and think what might have been.

I feel sorry for Kanter. He probably should have stuck to his commitment to the Washington Huskies. He would be playing in the NCAA tournament this week if he had. There's not a doubt in my mind about that. the NCAA is so hypocritical it's a joke.
