I had that pleasure with the Celtics a couple years back... After years of mediocrity... And it was SWEET!!

I want UK to win a Championship badly. It's a tie with them and the Reds. The Lakers have been very very good to me but it's just not the same as the hometown teams.

Actually if you watch Motta he is trying to.

As good as Craft is defensively, it seemed like every big shot UK made was with him on defense.

I was scared to death when Buford shot that last three and woke up the house when Jorts swatted that rebound away.

Calipari has done an unreal coaching job this year. He said over a month ago that the upper classmen had to take the lead. On the money. And they have come through for him.

He had 2 so he should have been.

Great game plan, great job of saving players with early foul problems. Beat the Tar Heels! Go SEC!!!! Gators/Cats in the finals!

I was way to young to understand 96 and 98, so this win has me absolutely giddy.

You are no where near as young as me.

Watched on the DVR and clearly did. I think he just waited too long. I tell you I really like Motta, he is a class act. Was before the game was after. If cal leaves if would take him in a heartbeat

Hell of a performance by Jorts, Liggins and Miller.

Agree. When we got in early foul trouble, I thought we wouldn't pull it out. Love Jorts....what a turn around from last year. His stock is rising every game.

Jorts played like there was no tomorrow, that's senior leadership you can't teach. Something really clicked for this team right before the SEC tourney, talk about peaking at the right time.

Sullinger said he's definitely coming back. Won't even put name in for NBA draft. "I'm a man of my word."

Kind of surprised to hear that

The one thing I notice about this years team compared to last years team is we can shoot the 3 and make big time shots! Last year we couldn't hit a 3 for anything.

We watched the game at Bdubs in Independence and it was NUTTTTSSSS! My best comparison is it looked like that commercial with the Cameron Crazies where they're all hopping up and down. When the clock struck zero it was a mad house. People were jumping on tables, strangers were hugging absolute strangers. The most fun I've ever had watching a UK game. Best night I've had in a while.
