Hatz, I didn't get my book out, check out my age on the age thread...But I remember 92/09 very well. Big Ten won two in 2000s with the Buckeyes as did Michigan, but when was the last one since those two? I do know that one.

I think the best thing we could've done was just ignore this thread completely..

In the NCAA Tournament, momentum can mean more than anything else. Connecticut has had more momentum than any team remaining for a longer period. While both teams are very talented and led by two living legends, Calipari is going to once again leave the Final Four without a national championship.

The Huskies will knock out the Wildcats on Saturday and go on to defeat the Butler Bulldogs in the championship game on Monday night.
Especially since that whole "more momentum and for longer" part is factually inaccurate. Kentucky is 10-0 since 2/26 while UConn is 10-2. UConn's streak didn't start until 3/8.

Yet again, Jim tries to give himself the role of unbiased commentator but just proves his anti-UK bias.

Maybe that's just his prediction; doesn't necessarily mean he's a fan.

I feel like UK will probably beat UConn and then win No. 8 on Monday. Does that mean I'm a Wildcat fan?

You're smarter than that. Read the article and then tell try to tell me that the author's motive wasn't to rile up Kentucky fans.

Considering the switch happened the day Cal became the coach and he tried to go back and delete the comments, you tell me...

Not sure what his motive was but he's being consistent since he had previously picked UCON to be in the final 4. Of course that was his only correct pick since he had Kansas winning it all. Since that was his only pick to make the final four it makes sense that he picks them to win it all.

Conveniently ignoring the misreported facts part? I know you hate when an anti-UK journalist is proven wrong, but c'mon.

Still doesn't mean he's a UConn fan. Obviously, he has little love for Calipari. I'd say that's not just isolated among UConn fans.

What? What does this have anything to do with what I said? I'm not defending the quality of the article (which is indeed not that well written); just the rush by you guys to paint him as a UConn fan, even though there is no evidence that he is.

He may not be a lifelong UCONN fan, but there's no doubt that he's pulling for them Saturday night.
