    If Enes was eligible

The folk hero that is Jorts would never have been.

I wish we had Enes but it has sure been fun to watch Jorts develop into a great player.

Who knows what would have happened? They could have been a #1 seed and ending up getting knocked out by someone like VCU or Butler on the way.

I agree. Ask Duke, Nolan Smith was playing awesome. Then Coach K started playing a kid that had missed 90% of the season. Now they are at home watching.

Enes is a great young player but I feel that his numbers at the center position would have been very comparable to Jorts. At the end of the day, Josh is giving UK 15 and 8 on a pretty consistent basis - that's a solid contribution.

Come on now. Nolan was 3-14 from the floor and had 6 turnovers. That wasn't Kyrie, karma or Coach K's fault. No one would have beaten Arizona that night. 60% from 3, 55% from the floor and a 16 rebound advantage in the 2nd half. That is why Duke lost not because Kyrie came back. Duke would not have won that night with or without Kyrie the way Arizona played that night. Even if Nolan goes 8-14 instead of 3-14 Duke still loses.

And now.....back to the regularly scheduled thread topic. UK would have been a higher seed and who knows how things would have turned out. Harrellson said going against Enes in practice made him better so Enes' stamp on the team is evident through Harrellson.

First of all let me say I love and I mean love Jorts. His rise to folk hero status has been unbelievable and great fun. I think the difference with Kanter would be his post presence. He would require a double team and with the shooter UK has they would be scary. But Im happy it's the way it is. I wouldnt change it if I could because Jorts has earned his time in the spotlight.

If Enes had been eligible, would Jorts have been on the team? Calipari stated that he considered kicking Jorts off the team after the twitter incident.

He did until he realized Vargas was the next guy in line

The numbers may be comparable but Harrellson will never demand double teams down low. Enes would, and that would free up the shooters for even more good looks.

I think we'd have had a season similar to OSU and Kansas and earned a #1 seed. But, who knows if we'd still be playing right now?

    I agree with both thoughts.

I may be wrong, but I feel like we either would have went undefeated, at the most only lost the game to UConn. Who knows how the tournament would have went.
