    History to repeat itself again??

UK is 0-2 vs. UNC in the NCAA tournament. Both times they lost to the Tar Heels in the Elite 8. The first in 1977, and then again in 1995. Not a good sign for the Cats tomorrow, but both times the Cats won it all the next year.

That game in '95 was painful to watch. This year's UK team reminds me some of those Tar Heels.

Interesting stat but before last night U.K. was 0-5 vs. OSU in the NCAA tourney. . Something to think about I guess.

The cats have gotten revenge on every team that beat them this season when they met again.

As painful as '95 was for some of you, '77 was even more so.

That year the Cats were as good as anyone in the country with Robey, Phillips, Givens, Lee and Larry Johnson.

Cats fell behind by as many as 15. Then when UK whittled the lead down to 5 with 15 minutes left Dean Smith sent the Heels into the 4 Corners for the last 15 minutes.

UK got it down to 1 with about :40 left. Fouled a 60% FT shooter. He made both and that was it.

I think it made the '78 team all the more "IBM - Business" next year.

If the bracket plays out, UK could play a team they lost to all the way through the national title game -- UNC, UConn, and Florida
