As I told people all along, he was only on the hot seat if they were miserable this season. Didn't happen like some UC "fans" wanted and now the program is back on solid footing moving forward...

You have been saying that. It's still a surprise that he's enough of a commodity that he gets a raise.

Basketball people know that building what he did from nothing was a fantastic job. Only a surprise if idiot UC fans impacted your opinion...

Even so after the Gates suspension it could have gone the wrong way quick. Credit to the staff and kids for turning it around. Hopefully he gets what he needs to keep them pointing up.

Glad to hear it ... everyone knew Cincinnati wasn't an overnight rebuilding job.

Good to hear. Mick has the program heading in the right direction and anyone who knows what he actually had to go through understands why the rebuilding process took the time that it did.

Saw a preseason poll for next year that had UC 13th. I think it's safe to say the Cats are back. Now it's up to the fans to start showing up and AD Thomas to give Mick the support he needs and deserves.

GT, did Mick get anything else other than a raise? Did UC make any moves for improvements to 5/3, practice facility, or recruiting plane?

From what I was told he was very interested in NC State, but they screwed around with their search and when they offered him the job they absolutely low-balled him with the offer and he essentially said screw it, I'll stay at UC with the raise.

I like Cronin going back to his days at nearby Murray State. Glad to see UC giving him the confidence nod and time needed to do the job

I met Cronin lastnight he is a very nice guy. I was hanging out with my old friend Curtis Bostic at a bar called Lunar never thought I would see Cronin there he is a pretty cool guy. Just hope he don't get in trouble like Huggins did.

I don't know about any iidiot UC fans but I will take your word for it. I have plenty to do reading and searching trough a "pct." of U.K. fans, lol.
Anyway, I thought that Cronin did a fantastic job with his team this season. He is a very good coach.
