Butler is in the Finals once again. A great game to watch between two good programs.

Am I the only one who was bored to death with that game? Nothing exciting at all. Two good teams, but I would have rather took a nap than forced myself to watch that if I could go back and do it all over again.

Very boring game. Butler did what they needed too but there was no excitement to it, seemed like the crowd was bored as well.

I watched the Kentucky at South Carolina baseball game (Cats lost in extra innings)
I did not watch any of this game but I am glad Butler won.

Just Butler being Butler. They make it ugly on purpose, and just keep winning in the process. 10-1 in the tournament over last two years and only the favorite once. 11-0 against the spread...

They remind me of a collegiate version of the Detroit Pistons "Bad Boys" from the late 80's.

Winning ugly beats losing pretty every time. Seems like Butler has a knack for winning the tight ones.

And they are very good at it. They can win more games while playing bad. they just get it done and I hope they do on Monday as well.

Glad Butler won. I was getting tired of the VCU and Shacka Smart "no respect" card.

I will make this statement right now, there is not a better fundametally coached team in this tournament than Butler, Bar none!
Butler does not beat themselves, their players are always in position. Butler is experienced, was in the title game last year and will win it all this season.

Absolutely! I get so tired of people saying they (meaning any team, any game) won ugly. They won, that is not ugly. No one judges it a beauty contest.
As Herman Edwards says.....you play to win the game.

Congratulations to both teams on incredible runs in the tournament. I'm still amazed that Butler made consecutive final fours and that VCU made it this far as well. Butler has been a proven team for some time now, but what they have accomplished this year along with what they did last year has done so much more for them as a team and program. Between their defensive style, leadership, and experience, I believe that UConn is going to be in for a battle and that anyone else would have been as well. With saying that, I believe their chances of winning Monday night are pretty good.
