Doesn't this loss by Georgia get UK second place if UK beats Tennessee?

Yes, they would be the only 10-6 in the East...

If UK loses, there will be 4 teams in the East with a 9-7 record.

With Georgia and Vanderbilt losing saturday, the winner of the UK/UT game will decide who will be the #2 seed in the East for the Tourney. If UK loses, they will be the #3 seed.

Pretty decent year for the Tide, some early losses hurt but they have improved and the NCAA guys have to see that. To go undefeated at home 4-2 against the might East says something. But a couple of wins in the SEC tourney will help.

Pretty good season for the Tide, especially in conference play. Wasnt expecting that from them this year.

The East is mighty only in comparison to the West, which is not saying much.

I think Bama maximized on what they had this year. Grant did a great job considering the slow start. I think the UK win really catapulted them to their SEC success. I think they need to reach the finals to secure a spot.

Bama has to be in. Otherwise it would be an insult to the SEC---to have the West winner not make it. I feel very confident they're in.

The SEC West winner did not make it last season.
