I follow quite a few people particularly sports related.
It is the best way to get breaking news and such. Twitter has essentially killed any pay basketball/football recruiting websites and has certainly put a dent into the premy sites.
    Jay Bilas is fantastic.
John C. Maxwell is excellent for that motivational/leadership quote of the day.
@OldHossRadbourn is really funny with baseball related stuff.

I got your request. I made it private because I don't really want everyone looking at my stuff if they were to search for me.

Good deal brother. Can't blame you there. I let my old students follow me there, I wanted no part of allowing them on my facebook. So I can definitely see what you're saying .

Never used it. Just another nail in the "old-fogey coffin."

I guess it might be interesting to follow some folks. But I've never imagined that anybody would be interested in anything I might have to say.

I do not fully buy the necessary nature of twitter as some have drawn the parallel with email or a cell phone. As I said I only follow a few people and have never posted anything from myself. I get how it can be beneficial to receive information instantly, but if you follow hundreds of people, doesn't it all get real convoluted? I would argue just having a cell phone with internet/email access is the more necessary feature, not twitter. If you are a cell phone zombie and always glued to your phone, then twitter may be the way of the world, but I do my best not to check my phone every 2 minutes. If a breaking story takes place our information is brought to us pretty instantaneous now -- whether we have twitter updates not.

How do I make stuff private? Like if I'm sending something to someone, how do I make it so not everyone gets it?

Amazing how when this stuff gets out, they always deny it and have no idea how it happened.
