What do you put on your burger?

How do you top 'em when it's entirely up to you? Who puts on anything other than what I listed?

I LOVE burgers and top them a million different ways and sometimes it depends on the burger. One very important topping you left off is hot sauce. Also, when I make a burger at home, avaocado and bacon are frequent toppings. I also prefer to use the thin sandwich buns as opposed to regular ones. Here are some of my favorite combinations

Probably my absolute favorite is from a restaurant in Hodgenville, KY called Laha's. I get a cheeseburger (which automatically comes with cooked onions) and put mustard and Frank's Red Hot on it. The burgers at Laha's are amazing and one of the few I can eat "plain".

Just had an all Angus burger the other day at Hammerhead's in Louisville. I got it with pepperjack cheese and a jalapeno-lime aioli (which is definitely a new favorite topping for me).

One of my favorites to make at home is a turkey burger with pepperjack cheese, sweet Thai chili sauce, Sriracha, tomato, onion, and avocado.

I could probably list combinations for days. But universally I like some type of hot sauce, pepperjack cheese, and onions to be on my burger.

I recently concocted a chipotle mayo dressing (chipotle adobo sauce, mayo, lime juice) that goes great along with avocado and lettuce.

I usually mix it up among those I voted for. Outside of those listed in the poll, I like to add a fried egg sometimes. Guacamole is great as well.

Guacamole/avocado bacon combo is great. Next for me would be your basic loaded cheeseburger - onion, lettuce, tomato, mayo. I also like blue cheese on a burger.

I am trying not to eat many burgers because it means I will also be eating some greasy french fries as well.

I like my burger with cheddar cheese, tomato, pickles, mustard, and ketchup.

Five Guys is the best fast food burger!

Fried egg is my favorite addition to a burger. Smashburger makes them the best with the fried egg.

When you return to NKY for the summer go down to Covington to the Sidebar on Greenup and get you a quality egg-topped burger.

Hated that Fuddrucker's in Florence closed. Loved building my own burger there.

It really depends on where it comes from.

Wendy's: Jr Bacon Cheeseburger the way they serve it
McDonalds: Big Mac w/o pickle, occasionally a double cheeseburger w/o pickle
Burger King: A1 Steak House Burger or Bacon Cheeseburger the way they serve it
    B Dubs: Chili Queso Burger

I must say if you reversed my rankings that's probably how they would stack up as far as how I rank them.
