Mrs. S and I got a set of "last name" engraved classes that can double as wine glasses or bourbon snifters.

I also got a wooden squirrel from my grandson. It immediately made me think of Birdsfan. A thoughtful gift and a good memory. What more could you ask for from a Christmas present?

At the company party, I got a USF pillow and one of those thingies you put on the back of your phone to hold it. I use it to spin the phone on the table.

Best of all I got to see lots of smiles, laughter, and love.

Holy moley...I am DEFINITELY a fan of the sous vide cooker!

I talked to a few folks I know who have them prior to asking for one for Christmas, and I did a little online reading before I tried the first go of things, and just.....wow. I did the skirt steak, and then chicken breasts yesterday, and just...holy moley...

Got four (FOUR!) new ties. For me, it's basically like getting new suits. A couple colors I'd likely never buy for myself but they look really sharp.

A couple new dress shirts. (See a pattern here?)

    New pair of oxfords.

Subscription to Cook's Illustrated magazine. Dad's been a subscriber for a long time. So many good ideas from that over the years. No better cooking resource out there, IMO.

    New set of bourbon glasses.

Bottle of Old Grand Dad 114 from my brother. He knows what I want for Christmas.

Your brother sounds like a very smart guy.

My favorite two gifts are the neon signs my wife gave me. I have a large Rhinegeist Truth can light and a Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

Awesome gift was a tin with a family picture on it—inside is a puzzle of said photo!

Honorable Mention goes to a magnet cup holder for my teacher cart, from a very thoughtful son who has heard me complain about the challenge of holding a cup while pushing a cart.

Best gift ever was watching smiles on my kids’ faces as they opened their gifts.
Slept well with the weighted blanket.
Can also be used as workout apparatus. Thinking I will drape it over my shoulders and go up and down the stairs with it. Maybe even some squats?

I got the most adorable coffee mug and wall calendar with my granddaughters photos on each.
From the never-thought-about-having file, a Himilayan salt lamp that looks pretty cool, although I have no real idea what it’s supposed to do.
    2 bottles of wine
A teapot since I’ve gotten into tea over the last year.
Time with family. Very much treasured

Gift cards and cash from my kids. I told the kids not to get me anything but if they did gift cards to either Lowes or restaurants because this widower hates to cook lol.
I gave myself a new track saw, laptop and DWP611 router.
