    11. Don't have time to get there and would actually rather hang out at the water cooler making fun of miserable people who have no meaning to their lives, and like watching television coverage about an event that is basically meaningless to most, all the while worrying about people who have absolutely no concern with their existence on this earth, nor would care if they ceased to exist.

    But that's just me.

It's called entertainment. Also known as forgetting about all the crap in the world, and enjoying the moment. Also very educational and enlightening if you are a history buff. Also known as being briefly swept away into the fairy tale. No harm no foul.
Spouse and 14-yr-old son and 11-yr-old son and I enjoyed some lighthearted moments making fun of the Royals, and becoming educated at the same time. And that is not a bad thing.

Doesn't the bold describe most who watch college or pro sports?

OR those miserable people who have no meaning to their lives, and like talking about other people, and worry about what other people do with THEIR lives? Hmmm.....

Speaking of which, the reason Mrs. S and I didn't attend was because they wouldn't let me set up my smoker in the abbey, so we couldn't tailgate.

You were supposed to set it up at Buckingham Palace for Harry's party!

We were going to do that for the post-wedding tailgate.

But Hell, how are you supposed to get all tanked up to yell, "Wooooo Woooo Woooo" and "Get her, Willy!!", as they walk down the isle, without a pre-wedding tailgate? That just ain't right!

All are very good reasons. Wathing paint dry or grass grow are other valid reasons. For the life of me I cannot understand what the huge following and attraction is for the royal wedding or anything else is with the "Britts" is all about.
There is no royalty in our country and to me a queen ,prince, princess and or any other of their tags/levels they put on people is basically called a citizen in the U.S.. Those people mean nothing to me. I do not dislike them at all, just don't give a "bloody-royal rats patoot" about their weddings or any other events they have. I do hope that this bride will do good things as Diana did but I must say that I feel sorry for her, she will be followed, hounded and abused by the media every move of every day for the rest of her life. Another fear is that imo she just signed her death certificate as well. I hope not.
So, "pardon me-I don't have or want any Grey Poupon'

    Classic!!
Would be hard to come up with any tailgate/game ridiculous clothing than that crew wears, it is far more laughable than any tailgate cheering section could come up with. BTW.....did anyone get a look on the highlights of some of the headgear those women were wearing?? A Bengals helmet may have worked, .
