    It looks like the main threat from these storms will be damaging winds and hail.

    nWo, do you happen to know if the current river crest projections are accounting for future rainfall?

    I know they are projection the Ohio River to crest around 56 feet here in the Cincy area on Saturday. Does that include this storm?

    You should be just in time. I will be leaving at 5 and taking an alternate route that is for sure. I can at least see what the traffic is doing before deciding which way I want to go.

    They changed that today. Now it's to crest slightly above flood stage. They cut the predicted rainfall back to 4 inches from 6.

    They include the predicted rain fall from storm. Also they have to try and predict the rain fall in other areas that have rivers and stream that feed into the Ohio River.

    Just read the Mesoscale Discussion for Central Kentucky. A Severe Thunderstorm watch might be issued soon for that area.
