    Procrastination

I should be studying for my final exam that's in a couple of hours. But instead I'm making this thread.

My procrastination got me wondering what most people do to avoid doing what they need to do.

As for me, I find myself on facebook, watching TV, bothering my room mates, eating etc.

    What do Y'all do?

Intently listen to music, watch TV, browse the internet while BGPing, basically anything but do what I need to do...I'm easily the worst procrastinator on the earth and I don't think it's even close. Bold statement on my part..

I'm really really bad at doing this. Finals weeks is next week, and I am not prepared at all. Not to mention all the projects that I have due by Thursday.

I have to have Pandora on to concentrate while I study.

If I need to clean my house, I'd rather mow my lawn.

Long story short, I'll do pretty much anything to not do what I need to do.

I need to clean house, but I'm off until Thursday so I know I won't do it until Wednesday night when I don't have enough time.

If it's something important I get it done before it needs to be done, but I never really want to do it.

Do you put off studying for tests the night before due to laziness and choose to wake up early instead? I do this because when I'm pressed I concentrate. When I know I have other time to do things that I'm doing, I can never focus. I just work better under pressure. It's a poor strategy but it's worked so far.

I do that and end up not getting up in time. Does that still count?
